According to foreign media, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates recently approved a federal law to regulate the connection between distributed renewable energy power generation facilities and the power grid, which aims to promote more installation and utilization of renewable energy and achieve national goals. HE Suhail bin Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates, said that the new law aims to promote environmental protection by reducing the carbon footprint and meeting the electricity demand in peak periods, and laying a solid foundation for the clean zero strategic initiative in 2050 and the national energy strategy in 2050 of the United Arab Emirates.
